Logitrans takes over American dealer…

Only a few weeks after the take over of Logitrans Deutschland, Logitrans again publishes some important news! Logitrans has just taken over its American dealer, Interthor Inc. – the biggest purchase agreement in the history of the Company was signed.

”The American market is making progress at the moment, and we expect increased sales to be a realistic opportunity!”, says Henning Lyager, Sales and Marketing Executive at Logitrans A/S. “Furthermore we welcome on board six committed employees, and we look forward to starting our cooperation!". 

Since 1988, Interthor Inc. has been a Logitrans dealer in the American market. Logitrans deals with many companies in the USA, for example the US Postal. US Postal has put the focus on ergonomically correct working conditions – and has chosen the Logiflex stacker for the handling of letters and parcels. 

After the takeover of Interthor Inc., the Logitrans Group has approx. 140 employees and consists of the parent company in Denmark and eight divisions located in the UK, Belgium, France, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Germany and the USA.

The company is currently experiencing a positive growth in Europe and in the USA, and expects the takeover of the American dealer to further strengthen the position of the company. “We have entered a really good agreement, and we hope that it in future will increase the number of employees in the Logitrans Group”, Henning Lyager ends the interview.
