Eliminating the prospect of back strain

This straddle Logiflex with drum forks is in regular daily use at a large printer in the North of England.

It is being used for lifting reels of paper at 250kg capacity from floor level and then pushing the core onto the mandrel of the machine. The short mast and active steering makes this truck very user-friendly for manoeuvring in small areas around the unit.

The customer is actively looking at all aspects of manual handling, and has found Logitrans to be a good partner in solving many of its issues. It already has six manual highlifters and one manual straddle unit for loading product onto pallets at the end of line situations. This has made for a much happier work force eliminating the prospect of back strain.
