The purpose and mission of LINAK is to provide innovative actuation solutions that improve the quality of life and working environment of people. This also applies to the production of Linak. Also in its own house, Linak wants to provide quality of life and a good working environment to the employees!
”We make many investments in ergonomic work places. We want our employees to work many years without getting overloaded! Transporting and lifting are ”unnecessary waste” and therefore have to be carried through as easy and simple as possible, so that the time of the operators can be used to add value to the product”, Claus Boysen, Shop Manager at LINAK, says.
The company is Danish and has production in several countries. LINAK is leading within production technology and uses the newest principles within production. The assembly of the actuators takes place in production cells with 3 to 6 persons.
Linak uses the Logitrans Rotator so that the operators can transport the goods to the shipment place without unnecessary strain. The Rotator is also used in the production cells to ensure the operators an optimum working situation when packing the actuators in boxes. The Rotator tilts the boxes up to 45°, so that the operators have an easy access to carry through the packing into the boxes.
Claus Boysen also stresses the way of the Logitrans products to utilise the space. They are very manoeuvrable and require only a minimum of space. This is optimum when organising the space e.g. in the production cells.
The Logitrans Rotator is an indispensable partner in many companies, in which emptying and filling of boxes, or rotating different items up to 1000 kg, are needed! It puts focus on the working conditions of the operator and makes it possible to tilt crates and boxes so that the operator can reach the contents without stretching and straining the back. The rotator can turn a box 180º to empty it fully. In short - the Rotator can save many back problems – and increase the efficiency considerably!
